"Bloody Tangipahoa"
The era of "Bloody Tangipahoa" extended into the late 1960's and '70's, continuing an era of violence best documented by Southeastern Louisiana University history professor Dr. Sam Hyde in his book on this area entitled "Pistols and Politics." Dr. Sam Hyde will be with us at Chautauqua Louisiana Style.

The Original Swamp People
On Thursday of the Chautauqua we will have the original "Swamp People" as seen on TV. as one of our breakout groups. Aligators, turtles and a wide assortment of other animals will be a part of this breakout session. Don't miss it.
